Was just looking for something different to eat in myrtle beach and came across this seemingly hole in the wall type of joint. Walked in to find hubby and I were the only guests which meant we were treated like royalty! Got the Thai tea to start, which hubby always tries to steal some of. They asked if we were ready to order right away or needed more time. I requested more time and they waited til just the right moment. Since it was a cold day I ordered the coconut chicken soup to start, which smelled so good I burned my tongue tasting it because I had no patience. And I don't know if it was freshly made on the spot since it was just us, or if it was reheated, but it was delish either way. We ordered pineapple shrimp fried rice (hubby's request) and a green veggie curry (my request), but we shared some of both and took almost half home to have later. They were both filled with great veggies and had lots of flavors. The presentation was lovely too. They sell lots of handmade goods, including some little wallets and coin purses by the register. After browsing them while paying, they gave us one as a little thank you gift! I thought that was so generous of them! Very sweet people and eager to please! We will have to make another visit!

Great food. The owner is a hoot! When you say spicy, you better mean it! It was the best Thai I've had in a very long time. Super authentic!

Fresh, good food. Friendly service. My Pad Thai was solid.

Went here for lunch today and ordered the spicy basil rice with chicken. Rice was decent but nothing to write home about. Place was friendly and clean but other than that, really nothing else good to say. It was simply just okay.

Make sure and ask for lunch menu, great combo deals. Good variety of Thai dishes. Service is excellent. Good food at a reasonable price. It was an all around good experience. Curry and rice came out separate, had to mix on plate. This is the only way to serve this dish. So they definitely got this right! Extra spices offered on table, and food seasoned just right. Not very hot, so they are customizing dishes for an American pallet.

One of the best kept secrets in myrtle beach when it comes to authentic Thai food. Simple & casual, kind of a hole in the wall feel to it, but make no mistake the food is delicious! Although there might be a language barrier when it comes to placing your order, but the service has always been excellent. My personal favorite is the Pad Phed along with a side of Tom kha Kai soup !

This place is delicious, and extremely authentic. my favorite it the chicken fried rice and if you know anything about Asian food then you would know that a major part of the meal is vegetables, so don't complain about them.

I liked the pad thai!!!!! It is very tasty and the place is very cute. The Thai tea was very good

We stopped by for dinner while we were in Myrtle last week after seeing all the good reviews. I have to agree that they do have very good Thai food here. The owner/cook was very nice and clearly takes pride in her cooking. I had the pineapple fried rice and shrimp and it was excellent. My wife had the chicken pad Thai and my son had the seafood noodle soup. Both of their dishes very also very good. I will definitely stop by here again next time we're in the area.

Visited this place for dinner tonight. The place was empty - not a good sign, but we still trusted the reviews on yelp and went in. Ordered the spring rolls, penang curry and spicy basil fried rice (all of the mixed vegetables variety). Food was very good and tasty. There is just one lady who was managing the entire thing, so service was slow (but we were in no hurry). The spices were at the right level we asked for. My wife was hesitant to try thai food (based on previous experiences at other places), but she liked it too. The only qualm I would have was that there was no basil in the fried rice (maybe she prepared an ordinary fried rice instead of the basil one we asked for) - but since it was delicious anyways, we did not complain. I have taken one star off because of that. If you do go there, don't forget to try the thai iced tea - very cool and refreshing.

Nice small restaurant in a small strip mall. Stopped in for a Saturday lunch after mini golf and had the place to ourselves. Standard thai fare. We ordered pad thai with tofu and pad see mao, also with tofu. Very flavorful food, although chili sauce was added because that's what we do. Good, quick Myrtle Beach lunch choice.

Loved the Thai Tea and the Green Curry., very flavorful. We were there almost closing time Afternoon and the lady kept complaining about being open just for us. However she made very good food for us.

My family and I grabbed takeout tonight based in the great reviews on Yelp. Boy was it good!! We shared a soup, and tried the yellow curry and a cashew chicken. All three were phenomenal. The place looks like a hole in the wall small joint, but don't let that fool you! They received an A as a good grade, and that means a lot from a Chef here, me!

Great food and service. I'm from NYC and was skeptical that I'd find good Thai down here in Myrtle Beach, but this place is a homerun. I ordered a Won Ton soup, chicken pad thai and a Thai Iced Tea. Quality experience.

Favorite Pad Thai in Myrtle!! The owner is so sweet and so fast, it's always her there so she obviously has good work ethic and you always know the quality will be there. She will even make it as spicy as you'd like. Her Pad Thai is so good I can't bring myself to order anything else! I've brought several people here that have ordered other things with absolutely no complaints. This has become a bi sometimes tri-weekly ritual :) The whole menu looks delicious and very authentic.

I stopped in for takeout and didn't wait long. My yellow tofu and vegetable curry was really good. Well, that's about it. I'll be back again.

Pretty decent place, good portions and an inexpensive price. The owner runs the entire show and the food is served promptly. Disagree with many of the reviewers here that the food is amazing, etc. Without trying to sound snobby, I eat thai food all the time in the DC/Baltimore area and this place would be considered average. However being in a resort area its nice to have an inexpensive place to have decent food. The owner will season to taste so feel free to request it how you like it. It comes out a tad on the spicy side so consider that before ordering.

We were a party of 7, and there was one woman working. Made our food ridiculously fast. Good, too!

Excellent food! Quaint little restaurant with great service and great selection. Had several appetizers that were very good! A nice change from the high volume and low quality on every corner in myrtle beach. I will definitely be back!!

Legit Thai food. I'm a Thai lover and love pad Thai and red curry. I had the pad Thai here and I had no complaints. My gf had cashew nuts and was also very pleased

Great little place, staff was super friendly! Food was cooked to order and perfect. Big servings on the traditional noodle dish's , we both got to go boxes. It was a perfect midnight snack. Looking forward to our next visit.

So sooooo good!!!! We had the Laab Moo, Chicken Satay, shrimp spring rolls, chicken pad Thai, sum tum, fried rice, crispy ginger fish and sweet waffles. Everything was amazing!!!! I asked the staff to make mine spicy and they delivered. Service was great and we lacked for nothing.

Ordered the basil thai rice. There was no seasoning at all. Just plain fried rice. Save your timep and money.

Not the fanciest place around but fabulous Thai food & generous portions! I highly recommend!
(5)Susan G.
Awesomeness! Very friendly, very clean and very good food. My family of 4 loved everything we got. Lunch was a soup, spring roll and main dish for $7.00. Can't beat it!

It was great to find a Thai restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The facility is simply decorated, but in a tasteful and comfortable manner. The owner/chef is a lovely woman who prides herself in her personal approach. She brought the menus and discussed our options at length at the table. There was also a large photo display of many menu items over the counter if you prefer that traditional approach. I opted for the Coconut, Chicken, Lemongrass Soup and Grilled Eggplant in Brown Sauce (apologies for not having a menu in front of me to recall the names). The soup was excellent, and if the meal had stopped there, it would have been 5 star. The eggplant dish came from the luncheon menu at a lower price point than the dinner list. The quantity was enough, but the overall dish seemed salty, the chicken dry, and the sauce while tasty, a bit thin in comparison to other similar dishes eaten elsewhere. The Thai Ice Tea was also rich and tasty and cheaper than I have seen around the country. Bottom line - It was a decent meal and I was fairly satisfied, but the weakness of the main dish detracted from the overall satisfaction I experienced from the shop, soup, drink and owner.

I want to be careful about making accusations so here are the facts. The most powerful flavor in my Pad Kee Mao was cabbage. Not meat sauce, not spice, cabbage. The flavor it added was strange and slightly sweet. When cooked the cabbage was about the same consistency and color as the noodles. It felt like they were throwing in a heaping serving of cheap, filler ingredients to round out the plate. So when the ladies who came in after me asked what I thought I told 'em the truth. My Thai place back home smokes this place. So, Thai Pepper in Newhall CA, I'm givin' you a little long distance Yelp love. 2013 #126 / 365

Pad Thai was amazing, one of the best ones I've ever had. The service was great, very friendly. I had the veggie pad Thai and my boyfriend had the chicken one, both were great. I highly recommend this place!!!

Only place in Myrtle Beach to get a Viet style Summer roll no pork belly though. Traditional Bangkok style soup bowls, read that a quart size soup for one. The. Curry tends toward Asian taste if you don't like spice tell them to adjust. Our waitresses english was limited but the owners/cooks are fluent. A better choice than the other thai restaurant if you want real Thai instead of americanized.

Big portions. Good flavor. Friendly family owners. Nice decor. Vegetarian friendly. Their Thai iced tea is gigantic. This is probably the best Thai place in the area

OMG, another good Thai food! Been hearing about how good of this place. Decorations are kool, feel warm like i was in Thailand.

Friendly, fast and delicious, authentic Thai cuisine...with the cutest little Thai ladies runnin the place! I just love everything about this quaint restaurant. The food was fresh and sooooo way yummy!! We could hear them chopping the fresh herbs and veggies for our meals in the kitchen. So, so good!! I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning many, many more times.
